BLACK CHICKPEAS - 500 gr

An ancient and characteristic variety of legume, grown mainly in central and southern Italy, with roots that sink especially into Puglia and Basilicata.

Compared to common chickpeas, black chickpeas are smaller and have a wrinkled, dark, almost black skin, which makes them unique and particularly rich in fiber and antioxidants.

This dark color is due to a high concentration of polyphenols, which give the legume special nutritional properties.
