Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG Passito:
DESCRIPTION: Very intense ruby red color with purple reflections. Rich and complex on the nose, with hints of cherries in alcohol, sour cherry jam and blackberries. Surprising in the mouth, velvety and enveloping; the residual sugar is well balanced by a fresh and persistent tannin. Complex wine with great structure.
GRAPE VARIETIES: Sagrantino 100%.
VINIFICATION: Fermentation in steel, maceration for approximately two weeks.
REFINEMENT In steel tanks, 12 months in bottle.
